Jonathan Levine ("I Who Cancer-Cancer","Mother-Daughter War") will direct the sequel to "Journey to America" starring Eddie Murphy in 1988. [Hi Sisters 'Line] Screenwriter Kenya Barris wrote the script. Eddie Murphy was also involved in the production of the film, although it is unclear whether he will return to starring.
